Hi there!
I'm Esther Christodoss.

My journey into the world of digital media began in highschool when I started creating YouTube videos for fun. I had always loved to sing and do silly character voices, and YouTube seemed like the perfect place to get myself out there. In the process, I learned video editing, audio processing / mixing, and even marketing with other creatives. I ended up growing WAY bigger than I anticipated. My most viewed video reached over 8 million views!

I realized my passion for graphic design while working as an academy coordinator at a music school. After creating posters, promotions, and email newsletters, I understood my passion extended beyond making YouTube videos for fun - this was something I could do for work! I was in a totally different major at the time, but I took a leap of faith and switched majors to Digital Media. My time in the Digital Media program at the University of Houston allowed me to reimagine these skills in the context of the industry. I won multiple awards for my work, including a team-based award for a competition sponsored by Adobe and Chevron.

For the past three years and counting, I've applied my multimedia knowledge at a nationwide medical equipment supply company. Being in a healthcare-related field, everything I create has to be backed by thorough research, planning, and risk assessment. I've had the opportunity to create both training and marketing materials such as videos, infographics, animations, courses, and more. I am valued as an innovator on my team with my ability to think of new, creative ideas to connect with audiences on a deeper level.

What I value most is learning. I understand the importance of keeping deadlines in mind while working on projects, but I will always look for an opportunity to learn or investigate something that could elevate a project when possible. For example, while I was learning 3D modeling and animation as a hobby, our company was launching a new line of mattresses and were struggling to approach showcasing the foam inside the mattress. I offered to look into 3D modeling the foam and went on to create animations for it in addition to the product images. Since then, I have grown into creating more complex 3D models for the company. When I’m not working away at my designs or learning a new skill, I freelance as a voice actress and vocalist. I work with independent creatives that use the internet as their stage for animations, video games, audiobooks, and more.
